Starter Housing; To Adjust The Tension Of The Drive Belt; To Remove The Starter Housing - Husqvarna K 770 Manual Del Usuario

1. Loosen the 3 nuts on the cutting head (A) and turn
the belt tensioner (B) to the position 0.
2. Remove the front belt guard.
3. Remove the 2 screws on the rear belt guard.
Remove the rear belt guard.
4. Replace the drive belt. Turn the belt tensioner to the
position 1.
5. Install the 2 belt guards in opposite sequence.
6. Adjust the tension on the drive belt. Refer to
adjust the tension of the drive belt on page 28 .

To adjust the tension of the drive belt

Note: Adjust the tension of a new drive belt after you use
1 or 2 fuel tanks.

1. Loosen the 3 nuts.
2. Move the blade guard (A) up and down 3–5 times.
Tighten the 3 nuts (B).

Starter housing

WARNING: Always be careful and always
use eye protection when you replace the
recoil spring or the starter rope. There is
tension in the recoil spring when it is wound
in the starter housing. The recoil spring can
eject and cause injury.

To remove the starter housing

1. Loosen the 4 screws on the starter housing.
2. Remove the starter housing.
