To keep the saw blade from turning
press the lock knob while at the
same time turning the saw blade by
hand until the blade lock engages.
A
Danger!
– Do not extend arbor bolt spanner.
– Do not tighten arbor bolt by hitting
the assembly spanner.
14. Tighten the arbor bolt.
For version with tool-less clamping
module (98) (please also see the illus-
trations at the end of these operating in-
structions):
13. Reset the clamping module. To do
this insert the threaded pin (102)
into the bore hole of the cutting
depth limiter and turn the hand-

14. Screw the clamping module on the
saw spindle. To do this, turn the
handwheel (left-hand thread!) until
the saw blade starts rotating as
well, stop the saw blade and tighten
the handwheel.
The display field display must
then be yellow.
A
Danger!
The display field display must not be
red after attachment. If the display field
display is red:
Repeat steps 13 and 14.
Check the threaded pin and saw
spindle for damage.
Check the function:
15. Release the safety lock and fold the
sawhead down:
– The retractable blade guard must
expose the saw blade without
touching the saw blade or any
other parts.
34
– When the sawhead is folded up
into starting position the retracta-
ble blade guard must automati-
cally cover the saw blade.
– Turn the saw blade by hand. The
saw blade must turn freely in all
possible sawhead positions with-
out touching other parts.

Replacing the table insert
A
Danger!
If the table insert is damaged there is a
risk that small parts may become stuck
between the table insert and the saw
blade, causing the saw blade to jam.
Replace damaged table inserts immedi-
ately!
1. Lever the table insert (103) up with
a screwdriver. Doing so will damage
the table insert; it cannot be used
again.
