DUCT SYSTEM

The equipment can be connected to a tube to convey the generated heat in the adjacent rooms. The duct
opening is placed on the side or rear side of the stove and it is necessary to consider that it has not to be
directed towards flammable material.
Since the temperature of the air flowing in the duct can reach 200°C, the duct system tube must be made of
fireproof material and must never come into direct contact with flammable material.
In case of crossing flammable walls, the crossing tube must be properly insulated, by using adequate
insulating materials. The tube inserted in the wall must be properly insulated not to waste heat.
It is necessary to protect people and animals from intentional or accidental contact with the tube.
In any case, comply with the standards and laws in force in the country where the appliance is
installed.
It is strongly recommended to provide a thermic insulation all along the tubes to reduce heat loss thus
increasing heat output.
For duct system tube, do not exceed a max. length of 6 meters.
In case of duct system tube partition, it is advisable to realize ducts having similar length, for
uniform air distribution. Otherwise, air is likely to prefer the shortest duct or the less curvy
one.
In case of double duct system, the total length of the two tubes (that is, the sum of both ducts)
must not exceed a max. length of 6 meters.
