General features
• Power supply:
KM1800: 230Vac, 50-60Hz, earthed.
KM2500: 400Vac, 50Hz (3 x 400V facilities with
neutral).
• Control of run by way of times (KM1800) and limit
switches (KM1800 / KM2500)
• Adjustable maximum thrust using the mechanical
clutch

The KM2500 operator is a three-phase operator without a built-in control board; check the available functions in the
control board instructions guide.
Self-testing of photocells
The control board tests the photocells before starting
each operation. Should a failure be detected, the
operation is not carried out.
Garage light
The garage light time can be programmed between 3
and 90 seconds. Time begins to count when the
operation starts.
Flashing light
The light remains on during the opening and closing
operations.
The light goes off when the operation finishes. The light
goes off whenever operation is interrupted at an
intermediate point.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCT
TORO operators are constructed to form part of a
sliding gate automation system.
The KM1800 operator has a built-in AP606 control
board.

KM1800: for correct operation, DIP7, DIP8 and
DIP10 must be in OFF position.
The KM2500 operator is a three-phase operator
without a built-in control board.

In all cases, it is necessary to install additional safety
elements (photocells or strips) in order to fulfil the
requirements of Standard EN 12453.
In KM1800 only:
• Adjustable standby time in automatic cycle
• Closing safety device cable connectors (photocells or
safety strips)
• Opening safety device cable connectors (photocells
or safety strips)
• Self-testing of photocells
• Connector for plug-in receiver
• Connector for traffic light card
• 24V cable connector for peripheral connection
Operation pre-warning function
This function delays the start of operation by three
seconds, during which time the flashing light comes on
to warn us that operation is about to begin.
Traffic light
A plug-in receiver can be connected if the AEPS1-001
card is installed. Using colour lights, these will indicate
the suitability or otherwise of crossing the gate.
• Off: gate closed
• Green light: gate open, free passage
• Red light: gate in movement, passage forbidden
• Flashing green light: open gate about to close (in
automatic mode)
