THE POWER CORDS MUST BE PROPERLY SPREAD OUT, SAFE FROM SHOCKS AND FAR FROM LIQUIDS,
WATER AND HEAT SOURCES, AND IN PERFECT CONDITION. THE USE OF ADAPTOR PLUGS IS FORBIDDEN.
Should it be absolutely necessary, only use approved adaptor plugs with earth connection.
Make sure that the available power supply voltage matches the values appearing on the rating plate of the
equipment. Consider also that the maximum allowable power voltage variation is +/-6%.
IMPORTANT: THE CABINET MUST BE PROPERLY CONNECTED TO THE EARTHING SYSTEM. Failure to meet
this safety provision invalidates whatever responsibility on the side of the manufacturer. If the equipment must
be installed far from the power points, make certain that the connection complies with the standards in force.
IMPORTANT: if the cabinet is installed standalone, see that it has a clearance of 5cm all around for air circu-
lation (see fig. 10 on page 13).The cabinet was conceived solely to be installed against a wall or in a back-
to-back unit.

GE ARISING FROM INCORRECT INSTALLATION.
6. TECHNICAL FEATURES
The built-in electrical installation is composed of control and safety devices lodged in the bottom section of the
cabinet. The relevant diagrams and part lists are contained in a sealed plastic envelope together with the pre-
sent instruction manual and must be keept with the latter. The cabinet technical details, which appear on the
plate affixed on the outside of the cabinet (see fig. 8 on page 12) are indicated on table III, page 12.
The sound crystal level generated by the cabinet under operation is below 70 dB(A). The cabinet does not
generate any harmful vibration.

We hereby declare that the cabinet is appropriate for the preservation of frozen food pursuant the provisions
in LAW No. 283 DATED 30/April/42 AND SUBSEQUENT AMENDMENTS, AND DECREE LAW OF 29/Jan/81
PUBLISHED IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE dated 26/MARCH/81 No. 85.
7. LOADING PRODUCTS
Switch the cabinet on using the wall cutoff switch. As soon as the cabinet is on it will start its cooling cycle.
Allow about two hours before loading any products, which must already be at their preservation temperature.
THE CABINET IS FACTORY-SET FOR THE ANTICIPATED PERFORMANCE.
When loading products make certain that:
• they are similar in size and type;
• they do not exceed the load limit line on fig. 13, page 11.
8. USE
This cabinet was designed and manufactured exclusively for the display of ice creams and deep frozen food
in the BT version (class 3L1 and 4L1) and for the display of meat and fresh pre-packed food (class 3M1) in
the TN version. Its function is preserving food temperature, not lowering it. Therefore, when loaded, the foods
MUST ALREADY BE AT THEIR PRESERVATION TEMPERATURE.
This is why foods that have been overheated must never be introduced in the cabinet. Use padded gloves when
handling ice-creams and frozen food.
