FIRST OPERATIONAL STEPS AND SCOPE OF DELIVERY
DANGER OF SUFFOCATION! There is a danger of suffocation for children playing with the packaging film.
Do not let children play with the packaging film. They can become entangled in it and suffocate while playing.

Take the wildlife camera out of its packaging and remove all protective film from the camera.

3 screws
3 dowels
Mounting strap

Check whether the wildlife camera or any of the individual parts are damaged. If so, do not use the wildlife camera.
Contact the manufacturer at the address indicated on the Quickstart Guide.
Inserting the batteries and memory card
The battery and memory card compartments are located inside the wildlife camera.
Opening the wildlife camera
Release the two metal brackets from the locking clamps to open the wildlife camera.
Inserting or changing the batteries
Before inserting the batteries, make sure that the contacts inside the battery compartment are clean and intact. Clean
them if necessary.
Using non-rechargeable batteries: Use only LR6 (AA) batteries.
Using rechargeable batteries: As an alternative to LR6 (AA) batteries, you can use rechargeable batteries with 2,000
mAh or higher. It is recommended to use NiMh batteries with low self-discharge.
Pull the clamp at the top of the battery compartment lid slightly inwards and remove it.
Remove any batteries (if present) from the battery compartment. Insert 8 fresh/fully charged batteries. Make sure that
the poles on the batteries match the markings indicated inside the battery compartment.
Close the battery compartment with the lid.
When the battery power is low, a low battery message will appear on the camera display. Please replace all batteries
with fresh ones.
Regularly check the batteries. Replace if necessary.
If you do not intend to use the wildlife camera for a longer period of time, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.

Inserting the memory card

Open the wildlife camera and turn it off.
Make sure that the mechanical write protect switch has been pushed up to unlock the data protection of the card.
Insert the SD card carefully into the card slot until you hear an audible click.
If you wish to take photos or record videos and the data protection on the SD card has been activated, you will see
"Card Protected" in the display when the camera is in SETUP mode. In this case, remove the SD card and move the
write protect switch up. Warning: Make sure that the data protection of your SD card is always deactivated. Otherwise
the camera will not record any images or videos.
