6. INSTALLATION OF THE INTERNAL UNIT
Installation and maintenance activities on the air conditioners can
be done by personnel and companies holding appropriate certifi-
cate according to the Regulation (EC) Nr. 303/2008 which provides
the minimum requirements of the companies and of the personnel
about fixed units of refrigeration, air condition and heating pumps
which contain some fluorinated greenhouse gases, according to
the Regulation (EC) nr. 842/2006 of the European Parliament and
of the Council.
- Installation must be performed by qualified and authorized personnel.
- Do not attempt to install the unit by yourself.
- For any repairs, contact the service centre.
- Repairs of an electrical nature must be performed by qualified
electricians.
- Improper operations may cause serious harm to the user.

Therefore we invite you to follow the instructions carefully about positio-
ning, installation, connexions and test listed in these manuals.

Danger cut: use of gloves.

6.1 Installation template fixing and positioning
of the hole on the wall
- Ensure the appropriate structure of the surface and choose the right
kind of expansion plug
- Determine the position of the internal unit installation; refrigerant lines
can be oriented in different directions as shown in Fig. A
- Install the fixing bracket with 6 screws (Fig. B) verifying the right hori-
zontality of the same.
