Important: never deliberately disable the fumes discharge control device.
Any part of said device, if damaged, must be replaced with original parts.
ES
In case of recurrent intervention of the fumes exhaust control device, check
the flue and ventilation in the room where the boiler is installed.

Filling the system.
Once the boiler is connected, proceed with filling the system through the
filler cock (see figure page 78). The system should be filled slowly to ensure
that any air bubbles in the water can be released via the boiler and heating

system vents. The boiler is equipped with an automatic venting valve located
on the circulation pump. Open the vent valves on the radiators to allow air
to escape. Close the vent valves when water appears.
Close the filling valve when the boiler pressure gauge indicates approx.

1.2 bar.
N.B.: During these operations, start the circulation pump at intervals by
means of the main switch on the control panel. Vent the circulation pump
by unscrewing the front cap while keeping the motor running.
IE
Screw on the cap on completion of the operation.
1.8
Putting the gas system into service.
To put the system into service, proceed as follows:
- open windows and doors;
- avoid making sparks or naked flames;
- vent all air from pipelines;
- check the tightness of the internal system, according to the indications
provided by the standard.
1.9
Boiler start-up (ignition).
For issue of the Declaration of Conformity in accordance with Italian
Law, the following operations must be carried out to put the boiler into
service:
- check the tightness of the internal system, according to the indications
provided by the standard;
- ensure that the type of gas used corresponds to boiler settings;
- switch on the boiler and ensure correct ignition;
- make sure the gas flow rate and pressure values correspond to those given
in the handbook (see page 85);
- check that rooms are correctly ventilated;
- check draught during regular boiler operation, by means of, for example,
Available head at system (with automatic by-pass).

B = Head available on second speed setting (with automatic by-pass)

a vacuum meter placed directly at the fumes outlet;
- make sure there is no backflow of fumes, even during operation of
eventual electric fans;
- ensure that the safety device trips in the event of gas supply failure and
check activation time;
- check operation of the main switch located ahead of the boiler.
The boiler must not be put into service in the event of failure to comply
with any of the above.
N.B.: the boiler preliminary check must be carried out by a qualified technician.
The boiler warranty is valid from the date of testing.
The test certificate and warranty is to be issued to the user.
1.10 Circulating pump.
Nike Mini series boilers are supplied with a built-in circulating pump with
3-position electric speed regulator. The first speed is not recommended
due to the low flowrate. To ensure optimal boiler operation, with new
systems (single-pipe and modul) it is advisable to use the circulating pump
at high speed (third speed). The circulating pump is already fitted with a
condenser.
Pump release (when required). If the pump is blocked after a prolonged pe-
riod of disuse, loosen the front cap and rotate the motor using a screwdriver.
Take great care during this operation to avoid damage to the motor.
1.11 Optional kits available.
• System on/off cock kit (optional). The boiler is designed for installation
of system shutoff valves to be placed on the flow and return pipes of the
connection assembly. This kit is particularly useful for maintenance as it
allows the boiler to be drained separately without having to empty the
entire system.
• System zone Kit (on request). If the heating system is to be divided
into several zones (max. three) in order to interlock them with separate
adjustments and to keep water flow rate high for each zone, Immergas
supplies zone system kits by request.
• Polyphosphate dispenser kit (optional). The polyphosphate dispenser
prevents the formation of scale and preserves the original conditions of
heat exchange and hot water production. The boiler has a provision for
application of the polyphosphate dispenser kit.
The above kits are supplied complete with instructions for assembly and
use.
