Screw back screw C until the location bore is free.
Insert cartridge holder 2 with the clamping surface towards the screw.
Clamp cartridge holder 2 with screw C to 5 Nm.
Fit cartridge H1 or H2, adjust using graduated scale and fasten to 5 Nm using cheese-head screw 6
(spring disc/plain washer).
Loosen screw A.
Place tool on pre-setting device: adjust finely using graduated dial.
One turn of the graduated dial corresponds to a ⌀ adjustment of 1 mm.
Using the scale, adjustments of 0.01 mm can be made from graduation to graduation or of 2 μm using
the vernier.
Clamp slider B to 6 Nm with screw A.
Check the diameter on the pre-setting device and correct if necessary.
The following fundamentally applies:
For diameter adjustment, first of all adjust the attachment components to a maximum or within the scale
range, and then finely adjust the slide.

Always use the bridge and the cartridge in the scale range and secure using the applicable
threaded fitting.
