N.B.
When working on light alloy wheels, the
special claw guard (available on re-
quest) should be used, in order to avoid
scratching or denting the wheel.

POSITIONING/CLAMPING THE
WHEEL
- Tip the tool-holder arm back
- Place the wheel vertical on the machine
bed
- Operate the turntable to load and clamp
the wheel
CAUTION
If the machine malfunctions, retreat
to a safe distance and turn the master
switch to 0.
CAUTION
Make sure that the jaw of the turntable
correctly and firmly clamps on every

gripping point.
In view of the weight and size of
tyres for earthmoving machines, and to
ensure safe operating conditions, a se-
cond person must be available to keep
the wheel in a vertical position.
CAUTION
A fork-lift truck or a crane should be used
when handling wheels weighing more
than 500 kg.
CAUTION
Do not leave the wheel clamped on the
jaw of the turntable for periods longer
than the normal operating pauses.
