Installation

4.1

Purge air supply

The sensor needs a purge air supply for correct functioning.
The purge gas also keeps the measuring gas chamber dry
and prevents humidity build up that could harm the sensor.
Requirements of the purge gas supply:
Any air supply that fullfills the requirements below is suitable
to be used with this sensor:
– Delivered pressure: min. 1 – 2 barg
– Particulate free (40 micrometer)
– Condensate free (dew point below – 10 °C)
Connecting the purge air to the sensor
To connect the purge gas supply to the sensor
use a flexible nylon, PVC or a stainles steel hose.
The sensor is supplied with a 6 mm Swagelock connection
for this purpose.

Operation

In case of any failure or malfunction, the equipment in
which the sensor is installed needs to be in a safe condition
(depressurized, empty, rinse, vent, etc.).
