Examples
A USB input source can be very useful for last minute additions to a presentation. The USB input
can read JPEG, BMP, PNG, MP4, MPEG1, MPEG2, RMVB, and MJPG.
To set Input Source 1 to a USB with .mp4 videos, do the following:
1. Press <MENU>.
2. Press <SEL>.
3. Press <DOWN> repeatedly until the display shows >USB.
4. Press <SEL>.
5. If the display shows >USB PLAY TYP MOVIE, skip to step 8.
6. Press <RIGHT> until the display shows *USB PLAY TYP MOVIE.
7. Press <SEL>.
8. Insert the USB into the USB1 port. The movie on the USB plays. The display exits the USB
menu option.
The output resolution is the size of the output screen. The default output resolution is
1024x768x60p. See

To set the output resolution to 1920x1080x60p, do the following:
1. Press <OUT RES>.
2. Press <RIGHT> until the display shows *1920x1080x60p.
3. Press <SEL>. The live screen and preview monitor go dark, and then come back on. The
program screen shows the new format. The preview monitor will look the same. The display will
exit the OUT RES menu option.
The scale can be set differently for each input source so the image can be made any size and
placed anywhere on the live screen. Scaling is especially important when using PIP mode. To scale
the image from input 3 to 900 pixels wide and place it 90 pixels from the left edge of the screen do
the following:
1. Press <Program DVI3> on the top row. Input source 3 shows on the live screen.
2. Press <SCALE>. The display shows >H SIZE XXXX and under it V SIZE XXXX where XXXX is
a number.
3. Press <SEL>. The display shows *H SIZE XXXX.
4. Use <RIGHT> or <LEFT> to move to the first digit on the left.
5. Use <UP> or <DOWN> until the first digit is 0.
6. Use <RIGHT> or <LEFT> to move to the second digit on the left.
7. Use <UP> or <DOWN> until the second digit is 9.
8. Repeat steps 4–7 for the third and fourth digits until the display shows *H SIZE 0900.
9. Press <SEL>. The content on the Live Screen becomes 900 pixels wide.
10. Press <DOWN> until the display shows >H POS XXXX where XXXX is a number.
11. Press <SEL>. The display shows *H SIZE XXXX.
12. Use <RIGHT> or <LEFT> and <UP> or <DOWN> as described in steps 4–7 until the display
shows *H POS 0090.
13. Press <SEL>. The content on the Live Screen moves to the right. The display exits the SCALE
menu option.
