Sound-Active Mode
Connect the device to the mains and select the sound-active mode using the DIP switches. The
device will react according to the ambient sound.

Master/Slave Mode
In this configuration, the slave units will act as the master unit. Connect two units using an XLR
cable. The first unit in the chain will be the master unit. Set the DIP switches as below.

DMX512
The DMX mode allows you to create your own programs. Each individual fixture can be controlled
through a standard DMX controller. Set DIP switch 10 to OFF and set the values as below.

Connect the provided XLR cable to the female 3-pin XLR output of your controller and the other side
to the male 3-pin XLR input of the VDPL301SW. Multiple VDPL301SWs can be linked through
serial linking. The linking cable should be a two-core screened cable with XLR input and output
connectors.
