1 Application
The 9X52 Linear Transducer and the 9X53 4-Step Transducer are to be
used solely in exoprosthetic fittings of the upper extremities for myoelectric
control of arm prostheses.
Only start up the product in accordance with the information contained in
the accompanying documents supplied.
Instruct the patient in the proper use and care of the product. Handover to
the patient without prior instruction is not permitted.

2 Safety Information

• When servicing the Transducers check the pull-cable as well as
the housing for damage.
• When mounting a cable with cable housing, make sure there
are no tight angles or kinks. Make sure the cable runs smoothly.
• Carefully read and observe the lamination instructions.
• When mounted into a provisional socket, the Transducers may
only be worn by an amputee within an orthopedic workshop or
as an in-patient in a rehabilitation facility.
