INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1.
Check the lifejacket meets your requirements in terms of automatic or manual inflation,
harness or non harness
2.
Check the inflation system is fully functional (see 'Inflation system' section)
3.
Check the gas cylinder has not been pierced and is screwed in tightly (if you have a Pro
sensor model you will be able to check this through the viewing window).
4.
Check for any damage before every use.
Before use practice donning and using this lifejacket in water to ascertain performance refer to
'How to test your lifejacket' section.
This is not a lifejacket until fully inflated. Full performance may not be achieved using
certain types of clothing or in other circumstances.
Your lifejacket is fitted with a 'cylinder safe' to prevent the cylinder coming loose, however, you
should check before every use that the cylinder is tightly screwed into the inflator system (if you
have a Pro sensor model you will be able to check this through the viewing window).
IMPORTANT: Check before every use that the cylinder is tightly screwed in. A loose cylinder
will not inflate your lifejacket. This lifejacket has co2 gas inflation, it does not have any inherent
buoyancy unless inflated by the co2 gas cylinder or orally inflated by the user. This lifejacket
offers a minimum of 150 newtons buoyancy when fully inflated. Suitable for user of 40kg
upwards. The recommended temperature range on use is 5° C to 40° C.
Do not apply nappies which provide buoyancy when using the lifejacket.
Note: A whistle is attached to the lifejacket, it should be used to attract attention if you fall into
the water to help locate you.
AND MUST BE KEPT AWAY FROM CHILDREN AND NOT MISUSED.
THE GAS CYLINDER IS DANGEROUS GOODS
