MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

The cover should be cleaned and dried as follows after every use. Insufficient or
incorrect cleaning of the device can impair the performance of the Sous Vide Stick
Henry.
1. The cover and the lid of the circulation pump are not dishwasher-safe. All com-
ponents must be washed by hand with a soft cloth and mild detergent.
2. Please do not use scratching tools to clean the device. Metal tools or aggressive
detergents can lead to damages.
3. Dry all parts of the device thoroughly after usage.
4. Ideally, store the device in its packaging in a dust-free, dry place.
For maintenance, we recommend descaling the device regularly – at least once a
month and at the latest when calcifications are visible on the cover.
Follow these steps:
1. Place the device in a pot.
2. Fill the pot up to the maximum mark of the Sous Vide Stick with water.
3. Connect to the power plug and set the temperature to 70°C.
4. Add 5 gram of citric acid (powder, food-grade) per litre of water.
5. Turn the device on for approximately 20 minutes.
6. Switch it off and let it cool. Clean the heating stick under running water.
Switch off the device and pull the plug before cleaning or maintenance.
Wait until it has cooled down completely.
