External audio sources

You can connect different types of external
audio sources to the device via the AUX in-
put: The AUX input must be adjusted for the
connected external audio source in each
case:
• "AUX" setting for external audio
sources, such as portable CD players,
MiniDisc players or MP3 players.
• "CDC" setting for the Blaupunkt CD
changers CDC A 08 T and IDC A 09.
• "USB" setting for the USB interface
from Blaupunkt.
For the setting of the AUX input, please read
the following section "Adjusting the AUX in-
put".
Note:
If you want to connect an external audio
source, you will need an adapter cable.
You can obtain this cable (Blaupunkt no.
7 607 897 093) from your Blaupunkt
dealer.

After every change of the setting, the
device is automatically switched off. To
switch between the settings "CDC" and
"AUX", you must, therefore, fi rst select
the "USB" setting and then switch on
the device again after the automatic
switch-off. Next, repeat the setting
process to obtain the desired setting
"AUX" or "CDC".
The note "AUTO SWITCH OFF IN 10
SECONDS" is displayed. The device auto-
matically switches off after approx. 10 sec-
onds.
u Press the On/Off button 3 to switch
the device on again.
The device is switched on in radio mode
with the selected setting.
Note:
If you selected the AUX setting, you
can select the AUX input with the SRC
button >. "AUX" then appears on the
display.
If you selected the setting CDC or USB,
you can select the audio source with the
SRC button > only if a corresponding
device (CD changer or USB interface)
is connected.
