➤ Connect the positive cable from the battery charger to the positive terminal of the
battery.
➤ Connect the negative cable from the battery charger to the chassis of a vehicle.
Keep the negative cable away from battery and fuel line.
➤ Connect the battery charger to supply mains.
Disconnecting the battery
➤ Disconnect the battery charger from supply mains.
➤ Disconnect the negative cable from the chassis of the vehicle.
➤ Disconnect the positive cable from the positive terminal of the battery.

Using the device
➤ Switch off all electric consumers which are connected to the battery.
➤ Connect the battery charger to the mains.
✓ Depending on the charging condition of the battery, the battery charger starts
charging or supplies a retention voltage.

Connected DC loads prolong the charging time of the battery.
•
If the power required exceeds the capacity of the battery charger the
battery cannot be charged.
