5 Integration into the lamination socket
Manufacture and foam the inner socket using a comfort
technology and grind the foam.
Insert the lamination pattern into the hard foam so that
the profile edge protrudes 2 mm at least.
Attention!
The surface under the lamination pattern must
be plane.
Use Plastilin for modelling the shape around the lami-
nation pattern. Be careful not to damage the lamination
pattern edges (Fig. 1).
Pull over the PVA bag and laminate the outer socket
as customary.
Before processing the C-Orthocryl Lamination
Resin 617H55 or Orthocryl Lamination Resin
617H19 and Hardener 617P37 read the cor-
responding safety data sheet and observe the
specified processing instructions.
Once the lamination resin has hardened, grind flush the
visible profile edge of the lamination pattern (Fig. 2).
Screw the wood screw or Fuse Puller 710Z2 into the lami-
nation pattern and pull out the latter. Continue dismantling.
Insert the battery receptacle so that the cable output is
located distally from residual limb.
