REMOVE AND INSTALL

REMOVE UNIT

The rear of the refrigerator has sharp
!
CAUTION
edges and corners. To prevent cuts
or abrasions, be careful and wear cut
resistant gloves.
1. Close the valve at the propane gas tank(s).
To avoid possible propane gas leaks,
WARNING
!
always use two wrenches to loosen
ATTENTION
and tighten the gas supply line con-
nections. Remove the refrigerator AC
power cord from the receptacle.
2. Remove the refrigerator AC power cord from the recep-
tacle.
3. Remove the DC wiring from the refrigerator.
4. Remove the DC fuse or remove the DC wiring from the bat-
tery or the converter.
5. Remove the refrigerator DC power cord from the vehicle
wiring plug.
6. Open the lower intake vent and remove the gas supply line
from the bulkhead fi tting of the refrigerator.
7. Remove the white plastic plugs from the sides of the refrig-
erator interior.
8. Remove the screws from the sides of the refrigerator
interior.
Only carry the refrigerator at the strap
CAUTION

handles on top. To prevent damage
to door, do NOT use your knees to
support the unit.
9. Remove the refrigerator from the opening using care not to
damage the combustion seal!
Combustion seal can be reused if the

CAUTION
unit is removed without damaging the
seal.

INSTALL UNIT

1 - Install Cabinet

The rear of the refrigerator has sharp
!
CAUTION
edges and corners. To prevent cuts
or abrasions, be careful and wear cut
resistant gloves.
1. Move refrigerator next to RV cabinet.
Only carry the refrigerator at the strap
!
CAUTION
handles on top. To prevent damage
to door, do NOT use your knees to
support the unit.
2. Push the refrigerator completely into the enclosure using
care not to damage combustion seal if still attached to
refrigerator.
3. To attach the refrigerator, use screws and fi nishing caps.
4. If combustion seal is removed from refrigerator, refer to
"Install Combustion Seal" procedure.
5. Install the gas supply line to the bulkhead fi tting of the
refrigerator.
Combustion seal can be reused if the

unit is removed without damaging the
seal.
6. Install refrigerator DC power cord to vehicle wiring plug.
To avoid possible propane gas leaks,
WARNING

always use two wrenches to loosen
ATTENTION
and tighten the gas supply line con-
nections.
7. Install DC fuse or DC wiring to the battery or the converter.
8. Install DC wiring to the refrigerator.
9. Install refrigerator AC power cord to the receptacle.
10. Before operating unit test for gas leaks, refer to "Test for
Gas Leaks."

2 - Test for Gas Leaks

To avoid injury, never check for leaks

detector spray. Failure to comply could
result in personal injury!
1. Open valve at propane gas tank(s).
2. Ensure that gas connection is tight. Use leak detection
spray or fl uid to verify solid connection, free from gas leaks,
at gas regulator connection and bulkhead fi tting.

3 - Test Unit

Once the repair is complete, test the refrigerator by following
the instructions below. If necessary, refer to the Owners and
Installation Manual.
1. Push On/Off button (25A); hold for 1 second. The lighted
button will be green.
2. Select a power source. Push Source button (25B) until
desired power source is displayed
AC power- If the engine is not running, and 120 volts
AC is available to the refrigerator, AC mode will be
selected and displayed.
DC power-If the engine is running, DC mode will be
selected and displayed.
Propane power-If the engine is not running, and 120
volts AC is NOT available to the refrigerator, gas mode
will be selected and displayed.
3. Push Cooling Level indicator button (25°C) to coldest
setting level. A properly functioning refrigerator will begin
cooling within 2 hours.
