13. SYSTEM CONFIGURATION
13.4 Net
The DVR supports two options for online viewing after confi guring an IP address:
-DHCP (automatic mode). Acquires the IP address using the DHCP client model.
-Static IP (manual mode). Enter the IP address using the static IP model (enter data for direct
IP, subnet mask and gateway fi elds.
Note: For specifi c information of your network and an explanation of the network settings,
contact your network administrator or Internet service provider.
HTTP PORT: HTTP port connects to the DVR web server. By default, the value is 87. If
necessary, you can specify a different port number.
COMMAND PORT: The command port controls the DVR. By default, the value is 5050. If
necessary, you can specify a different port number.
MEDIA PORT: Media port is used for transferring audio and video. By default, the value is
6050. If necessary, you can specify a different port number.
PPPOE SETTING: Use the arrow keys to activate / deactivate PPPoE setting. The changes
are effective after you save.
Click on the >> button to gain access to the settings window. Use the keypad to enter the
account name and the user password. You can obtain these data with your Internet service
provider.
PPPOE IP: PPPoE IP values are based on your Internet account. For details, please contact
your Internet service provider.
DNS ADDRESS: Place the cursor on a value and use the pop-up keypad to enter your DNS
address.
