12. PTZ
Connect PT or PTZ cameras
Important information before you begin:
-Press the lock of this port with the help of a screwdriver to connect and secure the RS485
camera cables.
-PT or PTZ RS485 camera cables are those that allow the communication of the DVR usually
is marked purple positive (+) and negative (-) gray. For more information see the specifi ca-
tions for your camera.

Use PT or PTZ cameras

1. Once connected the camera, open the control menu:
(a) On the channel display screen, press the right mouse button twice to enter the toolbar
and select the PTZ option.
(b) Press the PTZ button on the front panel of the DVR.
1. Insert the RS485 cables from the camera in RX and TX
inputs on the rear panel of the DVR according to its pole.
2. Connect the camera cable to the channel you selected
in step 1 of the instructions "PT or PTZ camera settings". If
necessary use an adapter with RCA female connector to
BNC male connector.
3. Insert the power adapter to the power connector on the
camera to energize it.
