1 Preparing the battery pack
(])Insert the battery pack into the battery charger.
• Insert ihe ballery pack as t=ar as ii will go, ihe press the back of the battery pack gently until it clicks.
OConnect the battery charger to the wall outlet (wall socket).
Tile CHARGE lamp lights up, and charging starts.
When lhe CHARGE lamp turns olf, charging is t]nished (Normal charge). Also, ll_e CHARGE lamp
may lurn off when the temperalure is outside of Ihe recommended operaling temperature (10 to 30°C),
as fl_e charger is on slandby.
Charging time
• The table above
shows the lime required to charge a l)flly depleted ballery pack at a temperalure of 25 °C
(77 °F). Charging may lake longer depending on conditions of use and circumstances.
• See page 26 for fl_e number of images that can be recorded.
• Connect the ballery charger to the nearesl wall outlet (wall socket).
• Even if the CHARGE lamp is nnt liL the battery charger is nut disconnected from the AC power source
(mains) as long as it is connected to the wall outlet (wall socket). If some trouble occurs while using the
battery charger, immediately shul off the power by disconnecting the plug from the wall outlet (wall
socket).
• When charging is finished, disconnect fl_e power curd (mains lead) from ll_e wall outlel (wall sockel), and
remove the battery pack lrom the batlcry charger.
• Designed l\)r use with compalible Sony batteries.
