movements of the barrier arm.
• the footing of the barrier system is able to provide stable anchorage
of the unit.
• the space around the barrier system is sufficient to allow easy and
safe execution of manual barrier operations.
• all devices to be installed are in a protected location so as to minimize
the risk of accidental impact.
• If necessary, create a pedestrian entrance well clear of the operating
range of the barrier arm.

4.4 INSTALLING THE LIMIT BARRIER SYSTEM
4.4.1
INSTALLATION:
• Remove the front cover using the supplied key (FIG. 4).
• Place the barrier raising system, sliding the power cords and
accessories through the central hole and anchor it with the nuts and
washers provided (FIG. 5A / 5B).
Arm assembly:
• Where required, attach the adhesive LED strip in the channel over the
full length of the arm (FIG. 6).
• If you wish to install the arm without impact protection strip, insert the
plug directly to its end (FIG. 7).
• If you wish to install the arm with the impact protection strip, place the
cover terminals at 220 mm from the bottom and then drill (FIG. 8A).
• Screw the cover terminals on both arm sides (FIG. 8B).
• Slide the impact protection strip along its guides, until it touches the
cover terminals (FIG. 8C).
Installing the arm:
• Release the operator as described in heading 4.4.3.
• Fix the arm support to the protruding pivot at the rear of the frame (FIG.
9A). Ensure it is in the "arm horizontal" position and that the internal
mechanism is in the position shown in FIG. 9B.
• Insert the arm inside the support together with the LED strip cable (if
provided for the model). Pull the cable from the rear of the support and
slide it through the hole below the pin. Then close the cover with the
screws (FIG. 9C).
• When the guides protrude by 100 mm, push them until they are flush
with the arm and fix the plug at the end (FIG. 10).
Fitting the spring:
Depending on the accessories and on the length of the arm, the spring can
be installed in the hole 1 or hole 2 or hole 3 of the spring stretcher tool. For
a correct installation please refer to the following table:
