L27. Iw: Welding current (red LED on), adju-
stable with the knob 2 (from 5A to the
maximum current issued by the genera-
tor) or on the remote control (red LED lw
flashing). In this case the maximum current
will be the current set using the knob 2.
L28. Time of gradual current reduction (down-
slope), adjustable with knob 2, "Aut" - 0.0
to 25".
L29. Final current adjustable with knob 2,
"Aut" or from 5A to Iweld (A) or from 1%
to 99% of Iweld.
L30. Post gas adjustable with knob 2, "Aut" -
0.0 to 25".
L30. Activation of the spot welding function,
LED on. Spot welding time adjustable with
knob 2, OFF - 0.1 "÷ 10.0".
Activation of the interval function, flashing
LED. Without releasing the torch button,
the arc is struck again periodically after a
set time T, adjustable with knob 2, OFF -
0.1 "÷ 10.0".
Notes:
- Any adjustments to a welding pa-
rameter are immediately memorized
and made available for welding.
- Five seconds after the last parame-
ter regulation, the generator automati-
cally exits menu configuration.
MENU BASIC SETUP
Press the button T5 during the generator 's
ignition (while the displays is viewing the sof-
tware version [Uxx]) to enter the menù whe-
re the general functioning and the regulation
mode of the unit can be set and where the
generator can be reset as default.
The display will view "P x", with the knob 2
select the desired P number. By pressing the
T5 button it will be possible to adjust the va-
lue of the P selected before. If value stays
unchanged for more than 5" the display will
get back to the main menu "P x".
With button T2 save the configuration, switch
off and ignite again the generator.
P 1 : GENERATOR SETTING MODE
PFr: Professional mode of the welding scre-
en. The operator can adjust all parameters of
the welding cycle.
EsY: Easy mode of the welding screen. The
operator can adjust only some parameters,
EN-12
the other ones are set automatically by the
generator.
P 2: SETTING MODE OF THE
CURRENTS IN THE WELDING CYCLE
AbS: All currents can be adjusted as absolute
value [A]
ReL: only welding current can be adjusted
in Amps [A]. All other currents get adjusted
as percentage (%) respect to the welding
current. By changing the welding current, all
other currents will change according to the
set percentages.
P 3: WORKING MODE OF THE REMOTE
CONTROL
When the remote function is active, the LED
L1 lights.
An: the generator works only in 2T mode. The
arcing occurs by pressing the pedal. The wel-
ding current is adjusted through the analog
input of the torch trigger connector [0->10V
= 5->Iweld]
dI: the welding current is adjusted through
two buttons connected to the torch trigger
connector.
LSt: by pressing the buttons it is possible to
scroll and charge the first 20 saved operator
points (see SAVE AND RECALL THE SET
WELDING PARAMETERS)
P5: SLOPE OF THE FRONTS OF THE
WAVE FORM IN PULSED TIG
Adjustable from 0 to 10.
0 = steep fronts, noisy pulse, maximum heat
input, narrow arc.
10 = fronts with a gentle slope, reduced arc
noise, longer arc.
P6: SHARP ARC
It controls the arcing type.
Off= immediate arcing.
From 0 to 10= number of rapid arcings. This
allows the correct fusion of the edges even if
they are not perfectly matched.
