7 Maintenance

7.1 Replacing the paper roll

The insertion of the new paper roll is described in chapter [Inserting paper } Page 8]. The order number for the
paper roll can be found in chapter [Consumables } Page 21].
Note
The paper rotary axis must always be transferred from the old paper roll to the new one.

7.2 Replacing the ribbon

The order number for the ribbon cartridge can be found in chapter [Consumables } Page 21].
1 Remove the paper cover (1).
2 Pull paper out of printing unit (2).
3 Remove ribbon cartridge, by pressing in arrow
direction (3).
4 Insert the new ribbon cartridge. If necessary, take up
slack with tensioning wheel (4).

7.3 Cleaning the housing

Since the printer housing is made of top grade, resistant materials, all commercially available mild cleaning
agents may be used.

WARNING
Death or serious injury due to electric shock
Contact with parts carrying a live current can lead to injury and death.
1 Disconnect the printer from the power supply prior to cleaning and maintenance.
2 Prevent liquid from entering the printer or AC/DC adapter.
