11. Troubleshooting
Malfunction
Pressure cannot be
properly adjusted
Traces of compressor
oil in the compressed
air
No or insufficient con-
densate drainage (a
minimum condensate
level is required as it
serves to lift the floater
and, thus, to open the
drain valve)
Drain valve blows
permanently (never
disassemble the drain
valve itself, risk of
damage)
12. Disposal
The oil and condensate free filter has to be disposed of as recycable
waste. Please observe local regulations!
VII.8
VII.8
Cause
Insufficient inlet pres-
sure
Pressure regulation
valve is defective
Too much oil in the
compressed air
Saturated filter
Floater stuck on the
drain valve
Damaged drain valve
Filter is not installed
vertically
Brass piece not visible
on the bottom
Floater stuck on the
drain valve
Damaged drain valve
Internal filter pressure
< 1 bar
Corrective action
Increase inlet pressure
Replace membranes
Control compressor,
refrigerated dryer
Drain condensate
(open manually)
Filter maintenance
required, chapter 10
Disassemble drain
valve by removing the
safety disc, then clean
or exchange drain
valve
Exchange drain valve
Art. No. 15511
Install filter vertically
Pressurise filter and
pull brass piece down-
wards
Remove drain valve
and clean or exchange
it
Exchange drain valve
Art. No. 15511
Increase inlet pressure
