SIMPLE LOGGER II
All of the instruments undergo mechanical and electronic checks before shipping. Every precaution is taken
to ensure that you receive an undamaged instrument. If there is any damage, inform the carrier immediately.
The manufacturer cannot be held liable for any incident, accident, or malfunction following a repair done
other than by its customer service department or an approved repairer.
5.1 Replacement of the batteries
Disconnect all inputs or remove the clamp from any conductor before opening.
Switch the device off
Remove the screw holding the cover, press on the cover and slide it off.
Replace the two 1.5 V AA (LR6) alkaline batteries. Do not remove both batteries at once; replace only the
first one completely, then the other. (The maintenance capacitor can maintain a supply for approximately 10
seconds while the batteries are being replaced.)
Replace the battery compartment cover and the screw
Keep the "PRESS" button pressed for 2 seconds to restart the device.
NOTE: If the device is left too long without batteries, it will be necessary, after replacing the
batteries, to reset the date and time from the control panel of the Simple Logger
Leave the batteries in the device only for short periods of time. If the device is to be left unused for an
extended period, we recommend removing the batteries.
When replacing the batteries, always replace them both. Never leave an old battery in place next to a new
one.
5.2 Replacing the fuse (model L111)
Using a flat blade screwdriver, press the cap of the fuse holder and unscrew a quarter turn;
When you stop pressing, the cap and fuse pop out by themselves;
Replace the fuse with an identical model: FA, 2 A / 250 V (5 x 20 mm);
Replace the cap and screw it back in a quarter turn.
