2. Remove the legs from the top unit.
NOTE: Place a piece of cardboard between the unit and the
floor to prevent marring the unit finish.
a. Carefully lay the top unit on its back. This step requires
at least two people.
b. Remove the four legs.
c. Return the unit to the upright position.
CAUTION
DO NOT lift unit by platforms on each side of oven
chamber. Platforms are not designed to support weight of
unit. Lift from underneath oven chamber only.
3. Using the appropriate number of people, carefully lift and
place the top unit onto the bottom unit. model m1313
weighs 166 lbs. (75 kg), and model m1718 weighs 229 lbs.
(102 kg).
4. Install the front stacking bracket.
a. Remove the lower door latch from the top unit, and
remove the upper door latch from the bottom unit.
b. Position the front bracket over the latch screw holes on
both units.
c. Reinstall both door latches over the front bracket using
the original hardware. Tighten the six screws securely.

Installing the Front Stacking Bracket
5. Install the rear stacking bracket to the back panels on each
unit.
a. Remove the two middle panel screws from the bottom
of the top unit, and remove the two middle panel screws
from the top of the bottom unit.
b. Position the rear bracket over the screw holes on both
units.
c. Reinstall the panel screws through the rear bracket and
into each unit. Tighten the four screws securely.
Front Stacking Bracket
6. Install the four air cover assemblies, two on each unit. The
air cover assemblies are specific to each side (right and
left, when looking at the front of a unit). The left air cover
assemblies have hinges. To install each assembly:
a. Remove the air filter.
b. Remove the upper and lower, outside fan guard screws.
c. For right side air cover assemblies only, remove the
backing from the double-stick tape inside the top and
bottom of the air cover assembly.
d. Position the air cover assembly on the unit, sliding the
air cover underneath the filter bracket and fan guard.
align the screw holes on the air cover with the screws
holes on the filter bracket and fan guard.
e. Reinstall the fan guard screws through the filter bracket,
fan guard, air cover assembly, and into the housing.
f. Reinstall the air filter.
