1 General Remarks

The filter unit MiniFil - IFA comes with two operating instructions:
• 150 2337 MiniFil operating instructions
• 150 2366 Supplementary operating instructions for MiniFil –IFA
Please check the information on the name plate to identify the MiniFil model.
Information provided in these operating instructions have also to be taken into
account when using the MiniFil - IFA in addition to the specifications in the MiniFil
operating instructions.

2 Product Description

The MiniFil - IFA is a compact welding fumes filter unit which is used to extract
welding fumes close at the point of origin to be discharged with an efficiency of more
than 99%. The extracted air is cleaned with a 3-stage filter process and is then fed
back into the workspace. The extracted air is monitored continuously and an acoustic
warning is issued when the threshold value for minimum volume flow is undershot.
On the left of the operating elements, the MiniFil - IFA is equipped with an additional
acoustic signal transducer (Pos. 1) for the minimum volume flow.
