► The orthosis may only be adjusted by qualified personnel.
► Do not make any improper changes to the settings.
► Inform the patient.
The joints on the ROM Walker can be adjusted in 7.5° increments from 45°
dorsal flexion to 45° plantar flexion. Take the following steps to enable
plantar or dorsal flexion movement:
1) Move the Plexiglas disc so that the window is over the pin (see Fig. 10).
2) Remove the pins from the joint (see Fig. 11).
3) Set the same angle medially and laterally.
4) Reinsert the pins (see Fig. 12).
Alternatively, the joints can be completely fixated:
► Tighten the Allen head screw (see Fig. 13, item 1) with the enclosed
Allen key.
4.3 Application
CAUTION
Incorrect or excessively tight application
Risk of local pressure and constriction of blood vessels and nerves due to
improper or excessively tight application
► Ensure that the orthosis is applied properly and fits correctly.
► Inform the patient.

Use of a worn or damaged product
Limited effectiveness
► Instruct the patient to inspect the product for proper functionality, wear
and damage prior to each use.
► Advise the patient that the product must not be used if the product or
part of the product exhibits signs of wear (e.g. cracks, deformation,
poor fit) or damage.
1) Open all hook-and-loop closures on the orthosis.
2) Position the foot in the orthosis. Check the position of the heel whilst
doing this (see Fig. 14).
3) Close all hook-and-loop closures on the liner (see Fig. 15).
4) Close all hook-and-loop closures on the Walker one after the other, start
ing at the bottom (see Fig. 16 and see Fig. 17).
