3.2 Historical menu
The BMV tracks multiple statistics regarding the state of the battery which
can be used to assess usage patterns and battery health. The historical
data can be viewed by pressing the select button when viewing the
monitoring menu.

3.3 Nominal voltage detection
Although the BMV factory settings are chosen for a 12V battery system, the
BMV is able to automatically determine the nominal voltage. The BMV is
also able to adjust the charged voltage parameter without user intervention.
During charging, the BMV measures the current battery voltage, and uses
this to estimate the nominal voltage. The following table shows how the
nominal voltage is determined, and how the charged voltage parameter is
adjusted as a result.
