8. Taking measurements

First of all, insert the batteries in the appliance, ensuring the
correct polarity.
After inserting the batteries, the appliance requires a warm-up
period of around 10 minutes before it can be put into operation.

Aim at the person's forehead, maintaining a distance of approx.
5 cm (2.5 inches). Now press the trigger. The temperature will
be displayed immediately.
Before measuring, make sure that the forehead is not covered
by hair hanging down, beads of sweat or other objects, which
