ATTACHING THE BLOWER CHUTE f- -4\
NOTE:The bag must be removedbeforeinstallingthe blowerchute,
1, Graspblowerchute with one handand slide lockingrod on
mountingbracketwith other handtowardengine,Use the end of
mountingbracketas leveragewhenslidingthe lockingrod, See
Figure7,
2, Slip blowerchute overrim of dischargeopeningand release
lockingrod to securechute in place,as in Figure7,
3, Raisethe nozzleheightto the highestsettingwhenusingthe
blowerchute,Referto nozzleheightadjustmentin the next
section,
NOTE:The bag/chuteswitchbuttonattachedto the mountingbracket
mustbe fully depressedbythe tip of front tab on the blowerchuteor
enginewill notstart,
NOZZLE HEmGHT ADJUSTMENT
The nozzlecan be adiustedto any five positions,rangingfrom5/8"
to 4 1/8" groundclearance,The nozzleheighthasto be adiusted
accordingto yardconditions,
1, Depressnozzleheightadiustmentlevertowardswheel See
Figure8,
2, Movethe heightadiustmentleverforwardor backwardto adiust
the nozzleupwardsor downwards, M akesureboth leversare in
the sameposition,
3, Releaselevertowardsdeck,
NOTE:In general,raisethe nozzleheightto vacuuma thick layerof
leavesor to operatewith the blowerchute,Lowerthe nozzleheightfor
smoothersurfaces,
