THE FLAIL SCREEN
If the dischargearea becomesclogged, removetheflail screenand
cleanarea as follows:

Stopthe engine,Make certainthe chipper/shredder v acuumhas
cometo a completestop,

Beforeuncloggingthe dischargechute,disconnect and ground
the spark plug wire to retaining pest,
3,
Removethe vacuumbagor blowerchute from the unitas
instructedin the OPERATION sectionto obtainaccess toflail
screen,
4,
Removeself tappingscrewon rightside of unitthat attachesto
theflail screen,See Figure14,
5,
Removehexscrewon top of rear housingnearmountingbracket
and the flangelock nutthat securesflailscreen,See Figure14,
6,
Removeand cleanthescreen byscrapingor washingwith water,

Reinstallthe screen,
