Intended Purpose
The product is exclusively to be used for the orthotic fitting
of the thumb area and only on intact skin.
Indications
• Rhizarthrosis
• Injuries of the base of the thumb and the saddle joint
Contraindications
None known
How does the orthosis act?
The immobilisation and stabilisation of the thumb joint is
guaranteed by the aluminium splint.
How often and when should I wear the orthosis?
The medi Thumb support only supports successful therapy
if it is worn consistently.
How do I put on the orthosis?
• Your specialist dealer has moulded the splint. Push this
into the pocket.
• Open the belts and slip your hand into the orthosis. The
aluminium splint is down.
• First close the thumb belt.
• Then the broad belt on the wrist.
