Illustration 4a is for one-man operation.
Illustration 4b is for two-man operation.
9 Using Attachments
You can extend the use of your circular saw by
using the NS-CSP 250x50 planing attachment
and the RS-CSP 160x80 curve-cutting attach-
ment available from the Protool range.
WARNING
Risk of electric injury.
►
Before any manipulation with the tool make
sure to unplug the mains socket outlet.
9.1 NS-CSP 250x50 Planing
Attachment
Using the planing attachment (item no. 624
337), you can mill grooves and rabbets to a
max. depth of 80 mm and a width of 50 mm
(see diagrams below).
max 80 mm
max 36 mm
Set the saw to minimum cutting depth.
Remove the saw blade [3-3] by following the
instructions in Section 7.7 (Replacing the saw
blade).
Unscrew the following components:
Plate [5-1] covering the blade guard
Guard [5-2] covering the pendulum mount
Dust exhaustion connection [5-3]
Riving knife [5-4]
Ensure the planing head [6-3] is clean and fi t-
ted according to the illustration and screw it
tight. Ensure that the mounting fl ange [6-1]
and the clamping fl ange [6-2] are in the cor-
rect position. The holes in the planing head
[6-3] must fi t onto the follow-up pins on the
mounting fl ange [6-1]. Insert the pin [6-4]
into the hole on the planing head to secure it.

Screw the cover guard [6-5] onto the pendu-
lum mount [6-6].
Screw the cover guard [6-7] onto the blade
guard [6-8].
Select the depth to be milled as described in
Section 7.2 (Cutting Depth Adjustment).
9.2 RS-CSP 160x80 Curve-Cutting
Attachment
Using the curve-cutting attachment (item no.
624 339), you can sink grooves, mill and cut
curves as illustrated below. For this purpose,
