Compare the dimensions of the old battery with those of the new one and use the spacers provided
to firmly secure the battery inside the appropriate place. The drawing below shows how a MR-30L
can be utilized to replace an acid-lead YTX30L-BS battery.
The spacers allow the battery to be correctly installed, besides providing greater resistance to
vibrations and better heat dissipation.
The red cap on the positive pole has the function to prevent accidental short circuits during
transportation. Remove it before proceeding to the installation of the new battery.
