HOW TO USE

Every attempt to jump start the vehicle should not last more than 5 seconds, with an interval of at
least 5 seconds between one attempt and the next. After five attempts, the battery must be left to
rest for at least 3 minutes so as to allow for heat dissipation.
Should the vehicle turn out to be particularly difficult to jump start, we recommend switching to the
next higher power battery model.
Leaving the lights of your vehicle on for too long after switching off the engine may drain the battery
too much and make the next attempt to jump start the vehicle impossible.
Should you leave your vehicle unused for over seven days, we recommend disconnecting one of
the poles of the battery, or else leaving a charger connected to it, so that it can act as a charge
maintainer.
Vehicles equipped with an alarm tracking system consume a lot of electric power and, consequently,
the battery will drain more quickly.
As low temperatures negatively impact on battery performance, in case you should make jump
starts below 0° C, we recommend turning on the lights for 1-2 minutes in order to heat up the
battery. This will bring the performance of the battery back to normal levels.
Do not expose the battery to excessively high temperatures for too long as this might have negative
impacts on its service life.
The battery does not require special care and its service life can last between 5 and 8 years,
provided that the charging system works properly and that the battery is used in accordance with
the specified requirements.
The operating voltage of a lithium battery is about 0.8V higher than that of a common acid-lead
battery and, therefore, it has a higher discharge capacity. Theoretically, a higher voltage implies
better fuel combustion, fewer consumptions and faster startups.
STORAGE
Do not keep the battery in a humid or overheated environment. The service life of the battery will
definitely be shorter if you keep it at a temperature of over 40° for a long time (more than 30 days);
moreover, the battery will get damaged if exposed to temperatures above 55° C. Damage due to
overexposure to heat will not be covered by the guarantee. To enable long optimal storage, the
environment must be perfectly dry, well-ventilated and with a temperature between 0°C and 25°C.
