Setting the joint angles (only ROM Walker model)
NOTICE
Incorrect setting
Damage to the orthosis due to overloading of the material and improper fit of the orthosis due to
breakage of load-bearing components
The orthosis may only be adjusted by qualified personnel.
Do not make any improper changes to the settings.
Inform the patient.
The joints on the ROM Walker can be adjusted in 10° increments from 40° dorsal flexion to 40°
plantar flexion. Take the following steps to enable plantar or dorsal flexion movement:
1) Slide the red lock upwards (see fig. 8).
2) Press the white catch towards the centre of the joint and move it to the desired position (see
fig. 9).
NOTICE! Set the same angles medially and laterally.
3) Slide the red lock back down under the white catch (see fig. 10).
Alternatively, the joints can be completely fixed:
► The joint is fixed by adjusting the angle to 0° plantar flexion and 0° dorsal flexion.
4.3 Application
CAUTION
Incorrect or excessively tight application
Risk of local pressure and constriction of blood vessels and nerves due to improper or excess­
ively tight application
Ensure that the product is applied properly and fits correctly.
CAUTION
Use with heat-sensitive skin
Skin irritation due to overheating
Do not use the product in case of a known heat allergy.
Do not continue to use the product if skin irritation occurs.
NOTICE
Use of a worn or damaged product
Limited effectiveness
Before each use, check the product for functional reliability and for possible wear or dam­
age.
Do not continue using a product that is no longer functional, or that is worn or damaged.

Open all hook-and-loop closures on the orthosis.
1) Position the foot in the orthosis. Check the position of the heel whilst doing this (see fig. 2).
2) Close all hook-and-loop closures on the liner (see fig. 3).
3) Close all hook-and-loop closures on the Walker one after the other, starting at the top (see
fig. 6).
