4.8. Waiting music
You can load your own waiting music (max. 4min 30s) in the exchange. Your external and internal callers hear this music when they are put on hold.
The music has to be a wave file (.wav) with the following specifications: mono, 8kHz sample rate, 16bits/sample. There are sufficient software packs with
which you can put existing music in the right format, mix texts and music...
4.8.1. Loading a wave file
Click on 'Loading wave file'. The Windows dialog box for files is displayed. You can make a selection. Click on the wav file you wish to load.
The file is being checked for properties: mono, 8kHz sample rate, 16bits/sample.

A format error is indicated under 'Music statistics'.
If the file to be loaded exceeds 4min 30s, it will not be fully loaded and will be truncated at 4min 30s (this is indicated under 'Music statistics' File > 100%,
will be truncated). If the file to be loaded is shorter than 4min 30s, the music is repeated until the total length amounts to 4min 30s (this is indicated under
'Music statistics' example File 2%, will be repeated 44,0 times).
If the file has the right size, you can load it in the exchange by clicking 'Send'. The sheet 'Programming' opens automatically.
If communication is successful, the program first tests the communication with the exchange and sends the message 'PABX found' together with the software
version. If a new software version is available or required, EasySetup informs you of this (see 5.9).
First, the music memory is erased. During erasing, a yellow smiley with a green question mark is displayed. The progress is displayed in %.
