b. Apply a few drops of valve oil to the piston
surface.
c. Put the piston back into the valve casing making
sure the valve guide is properly positioned in the
valve guide slot. Depress the valve several times
to evenly distribute the lubricant.
Step 5.
Apply tuning slide grease regularly to the tuning
slide assemblies.
Step 6.
Use either a trombone cleaning rod wrapped with
a long, dry cloth or a flexible trombone cleaning
brush to clean the inside of the slide to maintain
optimum performance.
Step 7.
Use the included cloth to remove fingerprints and
protect the finish.
