Installation
5. Adjust the position of the shock absorber if necessary, and lock
the position by tightening the locking nut. Torque 6 Nm.

6.2.3 Fitting sensors

Magnetic sensors are used to sense the position of the piston in the
cylinder body. They are fitted in special sensor grooves available
on all versions of the GPC cylinder.
Sensors series ST4 (pico) are used for GPC-ST and are then fitted
in the sensor grooves on the side of the cylinder. ST4 sensors are

also used for GPC-BV with piston size 10 mm. They are then
fitted in the sensor grooves on the top of the cylinder.

Sensors series ST6 (micro) are used for GPC-BV with piston size
∅
12 mm and up, as well as for all sizes of GPC-TL and GPC-E. ST6
sensors are fitted in the grooves on the top of the cylinder.
