1. If the monitor does not display a message after you have inserted
a test strip.
PROBABLE CAUSE
Batteries exhausted.
Batteries incorrectly installed or
absent.
Test strip inserted upside down or
incompletely.
Defective monitor.
2. You turned off the monitor but it makes a beeping sound.
PROBABLE CAUSE
The strip is still inside the slot.

WHAT TO DO
Replace the batteries.
Check that the batteries are
correctly installed.
Insert the test strip correctly with the
contact bars end first and facing up.

Remove the strip. If you need to

unused strip.
