6 Transport and storage
Raised loads may fall!
Falling objects can result in serious injury (or even death).
Always use lifting equipment with suffi cient load bearing capacity (see shipping
documents for product weight / name plate).
Make sure the lifting straps are correctly fastened before lifting the product.
Secure the product to prevent it from toppling during lifting.
Make sure that no one but the operator is in the danger zone during lifting and
lowering!
The case lifter can tip over!
The case lifter can tip over, injuring people and damaging objects.
Only place the case lifter on a fl at surface.
Only transport or move the case lifter without a load!
Secure the case lifter when transporting with an industrial truck by screwing it
to a pallet.
Only move the case lifter (on its own rollers) on smooth industrial fl ooring. Only
tilt the case lifter slightly on the rollers. A larger tilt angle increases the required
supporting force
risk of tipping!
When storing and transporting the product, always observe the ambient conditions
specifi ed in the technical data (see "Technical data" on page 49).
7 Installation
7.1 Unpacking
1.
Remove the packaging.
2.
Unscrew the case lifter from the pallet (3x SW17).
3.
Slightly tilt the case lifter and roll it from the pallet onto its own transport rollers.
See the name plate for an indication of the weight.
