Inserting the Batteries

Remove the battery cover.

Insert two size AA (LR6) alkaline batteries with
their polarities correctly aligned.
Caution
Be sure to install the negative ' end of the battery
first. If you place the positive ' end in first, there
is a possibility of damaging the insulated film
covering the battery and causing a short circuit.

Replace the cover.
Battery life
When the batteries become weak or dead, the Remote
Commander does not function.
Notes on batteries
To avoid possible damage from battery leakage or
corrosion, observe the following.
• Be sure to insert the batteries in the correct direction.
• Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of
batteries.
• Do not attempt to charge dry-cell batteries.
• If you do not intend to use the Remote Commander
for a long time, remove the batteries.
If battery leakage occurs, clean the battery
compartment and replace all the batteries.

Turn on the devices connected to the Monitoring
Codec.

Press the POWER switch.
The Monitoring Codec turns on and the POWER
lamp (green) lights up.
After the initial screen is displayed, the DIAL
LIST menu appears.
You can call the remote sites registered on this
DIAL LIST menu.

To go to the main menu
Move the cursor to <EXIT> using
press ENTER.
Notes
• When you need to turn off the power and then turn it
on again, wait first for 2 minutes before turning on
the power again.
• If you are not going to use the unit for a long time,
turn off the POWER switch.
