Sound power level (L
The noise level during operation can exceed 85 dB (A). Wear hearing protection!
Measured values determined in accordance with EN 60335.
Vibration total value .............................................................
The vibration level given in this information sheet has been measured in accordance with a
standardised test given in EN 60335 and may be used to compare one tool with another. It may
be used for a preliminary assessment of exposure.
The declared vibration emission level represents the main applications of the tool.
However if the tool is used for different applications, with different accessories or
insertion tools or is poorly maintained, the vibration emission may differ. This may
significantly increase the exposure level over the total working period.
An estimation of the level of exposure to vibration should also take into account the
times when the tool is switched off or when it is running but not actually doing the
job. This may significantly reduce the exposure level over the total working period.
Identify additional safety measures to protect the operator from the effects of vibra-
tion such as: maintain the tool and the accessories, keep the hands warm, organisa-
tion of work patterns.

Function of the Unit

This soldering set is particularly well suited for performing repair and modification work in rooms
or dwellings where a fire hazard exists.
ROTHERM 2000 is designed for easy, safe and timesaving soft soldering without using a tam-
per.

Electric supply

The soldering unit must be connected to a socket with a protective earth (earthed wire). Ensure
that the mains voltage is correct! Before connecting the unit, check that the mains voltage is the
same as that specified on the rating plate.
3.3

Operation

 If neccessary, the electrode holder respectively flat (3) - or stick electrodes (4) should be at-
tached.
 Prepare the soldering joint properly. Spread soldering paste ROSOL 3, or soft solder fluxing
over the workpiece.
 Plug mains plug into power supply (red control lamp light up).
