Operation tips
• Do not touch or disassemble the wind sensor [2].
• Do not measure outside of the operating range ('OL' is displayed on the
LCD) and do not measure in places with high humidity. Refer to the
technical specifications for more details.
• Consider mounting the device on a tripod (not incl.) for longer and more
stable measurements.
• Make sure the device is at ambient temperature for accurate
measurements.
• Remove the batteries when the device is not used for a long time.

Maintenance
• Wipe the device regularly with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol
or solvents. DO NOT submerge the device in any liquid.
8.
Batteries
• To replace the batteries, make sure the device is switched off.
• Open the battery cover at the back by sliding it downwards (away from
the sensor).
• Take out the old batteries and replace them with 3 new and identical 1.5V
AAA batteries following the polarity markings inside the battery
compartment.
• Slide the battery cover back in place.
Do not puncture or throw batteries in fire. Dispose of
batteries in accordance with local regulations. Do not
attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
Keep batteries away from children.
