You can download this manual from the local home pages of Bosch.
Probable cause
The "SensorSteam" function
has been activated. The iron is
set to stand-by.
The temperature of the
soleplate (12) is too high.
You have pressed the shot of
steam button (6) repeatedly
without waiting for 5 seconds
between each press.
No proper closing of "clean"
button (11).
1. The iron is not in a
horizontal position.
2. The soleplate (12) is
heating up.
This may be caused by the
lubrication of some of the
internal parts.
Traces of lime scale are
coming out of the steam
chamber.
Water is being pumped into
the steam chamber.
The "Calc'nClean" reminder
has been activated.
Solution
Grip the handle of the iron to
re-start it.
Select a lower temperature and
wait until the iron has cooled
down.
Wait 5 seconds between each
press of the shot of steam button.
Point the iron away from the
ironing area. Actuate a few times
the "clean" button.
1. Use the iron in a horizontal
position.
2. Wait until the selected
temperature is reached.
This is normal and will stop after
a few minutes.
Carry out a cleaning cycle (see
"Calc'nClean function" section).
