SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS :

• To safely use this system, it is essential the fi tters, users and technicians follow the safety procedures described in this manual.
• Specifi c warnings and caution symbols are indicated on the elements if necessary.
• It is not advisable to install this system in places which are too humid, too hot or too dusty.
• Avoid the places exposed to high vibrations.
• The screen must not be installed near a transformer or an electric motor to avoid any interference risks.
• Dark lines scrolling on the screen indicate interferences.
IMPORTANT
The user of this product is responsible and must check that it will be used in accordance with the law applicable the video surveillance in the country of use.
In France: Ask the prefecture of your department
Outside France: Ask the authorities competent in the fi eld of video surveillance product use (Public Freedom Department, General Regulation
Department).
MAINTENANCE
The warranty is void if elements are dismantled. Clean the outside only with a soft and dry cloth. Before cleaning, disconnect and turn off the video surveillance system.
CAUTION
Do not use any acid or alcohol based or other similar cleaning product or solvent. You may damage the appliance and the vapours are explosive and dangerous for health.
Do not use any tool which can be voltage conductor (metallic brush, sharp tool...or other) for cleaning.

TROUBLESHOOTING

With this video surveillance system, you have bought a high technology and ready to use product.
All parts are supplied to use completely your kit.
Nevertheless if you encounter problems or dysfunctions, you can remedy these defects by reading the following table:

The power supply should be near the unit and must be easily accessible.

- You should only use this product within a voltage range between: 100-240 Volts and 50-60 hertz. Never intend to use this product with a different voltage.
- Make sure all electrical connections of the system are compliant with instructions of use.
- In commercial establishments, make sure to respect the rules for preventing accidents with the electrical installations.
- In schools, training institutions and workshops... the presence of a qualifi ed personnel is necessary to control the operation of electronic appliances.
- Respect the instructions of use of other appliances connected to the system. (video recorder, TV, PC for example).
- Please contact an experienced person in case of doubt concerning the mode of operation or the safety of the appliances.
- Never connect or disconnect the electrical appliances with wet hands.
- When installing this product, check the power supply cables are not liable to be damaged.
- Never replace the damaged electrical cables by yourself! In this case, remove them and contact an experienced person.

• Check all the installation

• Audio-video connection
• Change the image ambiance in the monitor C4 (B4 button of the remote control unit)
• Or change the position of your elements
• Check your settings
• Change the positions of your elements (cameras and monitor)
• Check the battery and its position
• Use an additional lighting system
